  • Newborn Transition Package $860

    4 visits, $215 per visit

    Postpartum doula support provides in-home care during the early weeks after birth, focused on rest, recovery, and adjustment to life with a newborn. Great for families wanting guidance during the first few weeks postpartum.

    Postpartum support includes:

    Light housework (laundry, dishes, vacuum, etc)

    Infant care

    Breastfeeding support

    Meals preparation

    Guidance for rest and recovery

    Resource referrals if needed

    Available as an add-on to doula support.

My Heart Behind This Work

Hi, I'm Kat.

When I became a mom, I discovered just how much birth can shape the way we remember the beginning of our child's life. I also realized how important it is to have someone by your side who helps you feel seen, heard, and supported.

That's what led me to become a doula.

I love helping families prepare for birth, answer the questions that come up along the way, and provide support when the big day finally arrives. Every birth is different, and I don't believe there's a one size fits all approach. My role is to support your goals, provide evidence-based information, and walk alongside you through the process.

I'm grateful to serve families throughout Southern Oregon, and it would be a privilege to be part of your birth story.

  • A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. My role is to support you and your partner while helping you feel informed and confident in your decisions.

  • No. I work alongside your healthcare team and do not provide medical care or make medical decisions. My role is to offer continuous support while your provider focuses on your medical care.

  • I attend home births, birth center births, and hospital births throughout Southern Oregon (Grants Pass, Medford, Rogue River and surrounding areas).

  • Many families hire a doula between 20 and 30 weeks of pregnancy, but it's never too early to reach out. Booking earlier gives us more time to get to know each other and prepare for your birth.

  • Choosing a doula is a personal decision. During our consultation, we'll have a chance to get to know each other, talk about your hopes for birth, and answer any questions you have. My hope is that you leave feeling confident in whatever decision you make even if that's not with me.

  • Yes. I support families through many different birth experiences. While I have a deep appreciation for physiologic birth and enjoy helping families prepare for an unmedicated labor when that's their goal, I also recognize that every pregnancy and birth is unique. Whether you're planning a VBAC, choosing an epidural, being induced, or your birth takes an unexpected turn, my role is to provide continuous support, evidence-based information, and encouragement throughout the process.
